Training Sites

GOOGLE FORM:

As a reminder, the PTC used a Google Form last year to collect data from training sites.

If you completed this Google Form for the 2025-2026 training season, YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT THIS FORM AGAIN. We will share an excel sheet that has all of the programs who filled this out from last year organized into a table. The person who completed the form last year will receive an email that gives them access to edit the excel sheet.  Please check your junk/spam folders. 

• All you will need to do is update anything that has changed with your details. Please MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THE "UPDATE DATE" on the excel sheet, even if you do not have any changes. This way, trainees can see who has updated their information for the year. This excel sheet will be posted on the website for trainees on September 16th. 
• As a reminder, the last date for training sites to update their details on the excel sheet is September 15th. 

If you did not complete the Google Form last year OR you are a new practicum site for the 2026-2027 training year, YOU NEED TO FILL OUT THIS FORM TO BE INCLUDED IN THE EXCEL SHEET. After you complete the Google Form, your information will be pulled into a document that we will then add to the excel sheet with programs who completed the form last year. 

• As noted above, this excel sheet will be updated and posted on the website for trainees on September 16th. 
• As a reminder, the last date for training sites to complete the Google Form is September 15th. 
• If you accidentally refill out the Google Form and we already had your information from last year, we will just replace the information from last year with the new form info.

*As a reminder, only programs adhering to the PTC notification guidelines will be included in the excel sheet and website to reduce confusion for trainees.

NEW PTC BROCHURES:

We have been notified by several programs that trainees have requested a more standardized brochure structure from programs so they can more easily find the important information they need to make decisions about application season. 

Toward this end, we have created a one-page brochure template (see below) that we have attached to this email with examples from Heidi and Rachel's programs so you can more easily see how the template can be modified. The goal of this brochure is not to create more work for programs. If you don't want to do this, you don't have to. We have just heard students would really like this from programs. If you do create this PTC brochure, please email it to massptc@gmail.com in PDF FORM and we will be sure to add it to the website under your site information. Although we are hoping each program keeps similar/standard information in the brochure, we believe each of these brochures will still look a little different based on your program's information and that is okay! As a reminder, the last date for training sites to complete the PTC Brochure is September 15th.

MPA Training Committee Meetings:

Our monthly training committee meetings will resume on September 15th. We meet the third Thursday of every month at 9am. The Zoom link is as follows: https://umassmed.zoom.us/j/96329097682?pwd=UIp6e6iFWwuLVAvYvaRVE9171EGGiT.1

As a reminder, key dates for the training year are as follows:

• Date website updates are due - September 15th, 2025
• 1st PTC meeting - September 18th, 2025
• Application deadline - January 5th, 2026
• Notification date - February 9th, 20
